The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley’s College of Education and P-16 Integration H-E-B Read 3 and the Edinburg Housing Authority partnered this summer to bring community awareness to the issues of literacy and nutrition. The new summer program ran from July 23-27 at the Albores Courts Community Center in Edinburg, with 19 qualifying families recruited by EHA literacy coordinator Araceli Porras.
