EDINBURG, Texas — DHR Health Rehabilitation Hospital will host its 13th Annual Circle of Care Caregivers Conference on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at the Edinburg Conference Center at Renaissance, offering educational presentations and resources for individuals caring for family members and loved ones.

The conference coincides with National Family Caregivers Month, observed each November to recognize individuals who provide ongoing assistance to relatives and others requiring personal care.

The event will bring together caregivers, healthcare professionals, and representatives of local organizations to discuss practical approaches to managing daily caregiving responsibilities.

According to DHR Health, presentations will address symptom management, patient transfer techniques, recreational therapy, home safety modifications, and strength exercises. These topics are intended to give caregivers information and skills they can apply when assisting loved ones at home.

The conference will also address challenges associated with providing ongoing care, including the physical demands of assisting individuals with limited mobility and the importance of maintaining a safe home environment.

Dr. Manish Singh, chief executive officer of DHR Health, and Dr. Saroja Viswamitra will participate as special guest speakers.

Viswamitra founded the Circle of Care Conference after identifying a need in the Rio Grande Valley for an educational event supporting full-time caregivers.

The annual conference has since become an opportunity for caregivers to obtain information from healthcare professionals and learn about services available within their communities.

Several local organizations will participate in this year’s event, providing information about community services, caregiver support networks, and resources designed to help individuals manage everyday responsibilities.

DHR Health said the conference will include opportunities for attendees to learn about caregiving approaches, including techniques intended to support the safety and well-being of both caregivers and those receiving assistance.

The program will also offer Spanish translation services to make presentations accessible to Spanish-speaking participants.

Complimentary breakfast and lunch will be provided, and attendees will have opportunities to participate in raffles.

The conference will take place at the Edinburg Conference Center at Renaissance, located at 118 Paseo Del Prado in Edinburg.

Media representatives are invited to attend between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on November 7.

DHR Health Rehabilitation Hospital is organizing the event as part of its continuing efforts to provide educational resources and support to individuals caring for loved ones throughout the Rio Grande Valley.

The conference is for caregivers, including those who help family members manage health conditions, mobility limitations, and other daily care needs.
