Through its Towering Forward Tuesdays hiring events, STHS Edinburg hopes to fill more than 100 positions at the new five-story patient tower 

The day is rapidly approaching. South Texas Health System Edinburg will soon welcome its first patients into the hospital’s new five-story, $100 million patient tower.

With the grand opening only months away, the search is on for healthcare heroes to join the STHS family and become a part of healthcare history in the Rio Grande Valley. Beginning April 5, South Texas Health System’s human resources department will host “Towering Forward Tuesdays” hiring events every first and third Tuesday of the month from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. inside the STHS Regional Operations Center at 1400 W. Trenton Rd. in Edinburg.

From registered nurses and patient care technicians who can provide quality, compassionate care to patients and behind-the-scenes staff members, including medical laboratory technicians, clinical lab specialists and respiratory therapists, to dietary aides and housekeepers, STHS Edinburg is hoping to fill more than 100 positions throughout the tower with healthcare heroes with a passion for helping meet the community’s medical needs. 

“For years, we’ve had the vision to expand our healthcare services at STHS Edinburg through this new patient tower.
