RIO GRANDE VALLEY, Texas — Spirit Halloween stores have partnered with the Auxiliary to South Texas Health System to benefit the Child Life Program at South Texas Health System Children’s. Through the collaboration, shoppers can use a 10% discount coupon at any participating Spirit Halloween store in the Rio Grande Valley, and a portion of the proceeds will support pediatric patients receiving care at the hospital.

Funds raised through the partnership will help the Child Life Program purchase art supplies, music, movies, games, educational materials and toys. These resources help entertain, educate and comfort children during medical procedures and throughout their hospital stay. Funding will also support therapeutic activities, including pet therapy, that can make the healthcare experience more positive for young patients and their families.
