Edinburg – Nine more people in Hidalgo County tested positive for COVID-19 bringing the total number of people who have tested positive to 377, Hidalgo County Judge Richard F. Cortez said Friday.

No new people were released from isolation so there are a total of 152 active cases. A total of 5,960 tests have now been administered in the county — 244 of those have been public tests and 5,716 have been private laboratories conducting the tests.
