Ale loves school (especially art) and being the model for this year’s T-shirt, knowing that she is helping others like her in the battle against childhood cancer.

Cancer is the second-leading cause of death in children under the age of 15. Forty-three children are diagnosed with cancer every day in the United States. The Cancer and Blood Disorders Center at Driscoll Children’s Hospital treats approximately 40 new patients diagnosed with cancer every year.

The Carousel Gift Shop at Driscoll Children’s Hospital is honoring all its cancer patients with its specially-created T-shirt, available for online purchase at https://www.driscollchildrens.org/carousel-gift-shop-item/childhood-cancer-awareness.  All sales will benefit the patients of Driscoll Children’s Hospital.
