The ceremony recognizes 10 graduating nurse apprentices who completed what leaders described as the nation’s first federally recognized traditional registered nursing apprenticeship program, created through a partnership among DHR Health, South Texas College, and the Texas Workforce Commission to address workforce needs in the Rio Grande Valley.
