Five more in Hidalgo County test positive for COVID-19

Edinburg – For the third time this week, only five people tested positive for the COVID-19 strain of coronavirus, Hidalgo County Judge Richard F. Cortez said Friday. The additional five brings the total number of positive cases in Hidalgo County to 339.

One more person was released from isolation meaning the patient has not had symptoms for ten days or a fever for three days straight. The total number of those released from isolation now stands at 196 meaning that there are 149 active cases.
