Valerio brings to the taskforce more than 20 years of experience as a registered nurse and as faculty, program chair and dean for STC’s nursing and allied health programs. 

The human body cannot process carbon monoxide, and it can cause severe tissue damage – or death. 

Traditionally, nursing students have to balance their studies with employment obligations.

The grant will span over the next three years, through June 30, 2027, to help STC develop and offer an Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene program and microcredential courses targeting high-demand health care skills.
