Edinburg, TX — DHR Health Women’s Hospital (WHR) is excited to announce the arrival of their first baby in 2019! Delivered by Dr. Heriberto Rodriguez-Ayala, baby Alec entered the world on January 1, 2019 at 12:32 AM. Born to Dinora Sanchez, of Mission, TX, Alec weighed in at 6 pounds and 5 and a half ounces.

“It is really a privilege to be a part of such milestones in the lives of families in our community—and it is extra special when it’s a New Year’s baby,” said Aida Gonzalez, Vice President of DHR Health Women’s Hospital.

“The care that Alec and I received has been great,” says Dinora Sanchez. “It is a great blessing to begin the New Year with my baby.”
