Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in its second year to host first of its kind survival conference in the RGV

Edinburg, TX— With hunting and fishing season in full gear, there are many hidden dangers that come along with these sports. Snake and spider bites, poison ivy, gunshot wounds, heat related illness, drowning, and other emergent issues can arise when out in the South Texas brush country. On Saturday, October 24, 2015, Doctors Hospital at Renaissance, along with Dr. Kip Owen, will host the 2nd Annual Brush Country Medicine and Survival Conference to educate and enlighten the medical community, first responders, and the general public about these potential hazards.
