Veterans Health, Education and Benefit Fair to be Held at The Edinburg Conference Center at Renaissance

 Edinburg, TX— Doctors Hospital at Renaissance Health System (DHR) is partnering with the Texas Veterans Commission, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), and the Texas Veterans Land Board (VLB) to host the “Veterans Health, Education and Benefits Fair” on Saturday, October 17, 2015 from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM.  The fair will take place at the Edinburg Conference Center at Renaissance, located at 118 Paseo del Prado (McColl Road and Alberta), Edinburg, TX, 78593. Veterans and their spouses are welcome to attend this event, free of charge.

“Doctors Hospital at Renaissance is pleased to co-sponsor this event along with state and federal agencies for the purpose of keeping Veterans in our area informed about services available to them for healthcare, housing, jobs and education,” states Israel Rocha, DHR Chief Executive Officer. “DHR is also pleased to announce that Francisco Fernandez, M.D., Dean of UTRGV School of Medicine, has agreed to join us for the welcoming ceremony at this event in support of Veterans healthcare services.” 

DHR is hosting the “Health, Education and Benefits Fair” for Veterans in an effort to bring together services from throughout Texas to one LRGV location, as well as to provide Veterans with the opportunity to check their current medical claim statuses
