Workforce Solutions, in collaboration with the City of McAllen, the McAllen Economic Development Corporation, and the McAllen Chamber of Commerce as supporting community partners, is pleased to invite you to participate in the Jumpstart Career Expo 2026, one of the largest job fairs in South Texas. This free hiring event is made possible through the collective efforts of these organizations, with South Texas Health System serving as one of the main sponsors.

The Jumpstart Career Expo will bring together more than 200 employers across a wide range of industries, offering job opportunities and direct connections with qualified job seekers who are actively seeking employment. This event is designed to support immediate hiring and meaningful employer–candidate connections.

  • Access to a large pool of motivated job seekers
  • On-site interview rooms available for same-day interviews
  • Job offers strongly encouraged during the event
    • A ceremonial bell will be rung to celebrate confirmed job offers
  • Free professional headshots available for both job seekers and employers on the day of the event
  • Two (2) complimentary box lunches per booth, provided by the McAllen Economic Development Corporation and the McAllen Chamber of Commerce
  • Optional Employer Presentation (1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.) to share information about available grant funding opportunities and additional resources that may benefit your organization.
    • Please note that space is limited — indicate your interest in Question 13 of the registration form below.
