Renaissance Cancer Foundation Gala Exceeds Fundraising Goal at Over $428K

EDINBURG, Texas –  The Renaissance Cancer Foundation, a non-profit organization affiliated with DHR Health, proudly announced today that it surpassed its fundraising goal at its 15th annual gala held on November 15, 2025 at the Edinburg Conference Center at Renaissance. The event raised an impressive $428,390 which will continue to provide vital support for cancer patients with financial aid, transportation support, oncology wigs and more. The Renaissance Cancer Foundation helps low-income cancer patients in Hidalgo, Cameron, Starr, and Willacy Counties.

“Because of the generosity of our sponsors, the Renaissance Cancer Foundation will continue to carry out its mission, serving cancer patients who are in need of assistance. We appreciate everyone that joined us to celebrate the impact of our work,” Sáenz said.

This year’s gala featured a cocktail and hors d’oeuvres reception, a silent auction, and live music headlined by the Miami sounds of music group, The Clique.

“Through the Renaissance Cancer Foundation, we are helping to make a difference in the lives of those facing the challenges of cancer. A special thank you to our sponsors for their continued support,” said Marissa Castañeda, senior executive vice president at DHR Health.
