Services at each of the South Texas RAM clinics will include dental cleanings, dental fillings, dental extractions, dental x-rays, eye exams, eyeglass prescriptions, eyeglasses, women’s health exams, and general medical exams.

These particular mobile medical clinics are a part of a five-county emergency preparedness exercise conducted by Operation Lone Star (OLS) and the Texas State Guard.  Remote Area Medical has participated in OLS, providing free dental, vision, and medical care to thousands, since 2012.  Last year, RAM treated 5,568 people, providing $656,147 of free care during the five-day clinics.
