DHR Health Hosts Achieving Wellness Seminar at ECCR

The “Achieving Your Wellness Plan in 2024” seminar was recently hosted by the DHR Health Oncology Institute from 9:00 a.m. to noon on April 13, 2024, at the Edinburg Conference Center at Renaissance. The event was free of charge and open to the public. Attendees heard from various DHR Health physicians and speakers including Dr. Saroja Viswamitra, Physiatrist, Chief Medical Officer, Sylvia Granados, Patient Navigator from the Surgery Institute, and Aline Mina Hawat, Dietician from the Oncology Institute. Attendees became more familiar with preventive health screenings and the benefits of incorporating exercise and proper nutrition to assist with overall health outcomes.
