The Edinburg Chamber of Commerce has joined the SBA’s Lower Rio Grande Valley District Office to provide a webinar about the SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program on Friday, April 3, 2020, at 10 A.M. 



This webinar is to address and inform small businesses interested in applying for the SBA’s Economic Injury Disaster Loan, which will cover vital economic support to small businesses to help overcome the temporary loss of revenue they are experiencing due to COVID-19. These loans may be used to pay fixed debts, payroll, accounts payable and other bills that can’t be paid because of the disaster’s impact. If you are a small business that meets the criteria above and have been impacted by COVID-19 then this webinar is for you. 

Guest speakers include Congressman Vicente Gonzalez, Gilbert Soliz, Business Opportunity Specialist, U.S. Small Business Administration, Lower Rio Grande Valley District Office and Reynaldo Vasquez, Economic Development Specialist, U.S. Small Business Administration, Lower Rio Grande Valley District Office

Small businesses may apply online, receive additional disaster assistance information and download applications at https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela. Applicants may also call SBA’s Customer Service Center at (800) 659-2955 or email disastercustomerservice@sba.gov for more information on SBA disaster assistance. Individuals who are deaf or hard-of-hearing may call (800) 877-8339. Completed applications should be mailed to U.S. Small Business Administration, Processing and Disbursement Center, 14925 Kingsport Road, Fort Worth, TX 76155.
