EDINBURG, Texas – Caring for a loved one is an act of honor, love, and incredible strength. Whether it’s helping with daily activities, offering emotional support, or simply being present, caregivers are the quiet heroes who hold families and communities together. With nearly one in four Americans serving as family caregivers, their dedication touches every corner of our lives.

This year, DHR Health is proud to once again celebrate these extraordinary individuals by inviting all caregivers across the Rio Grande Valley to its 12th Annual “Circle of Care” Caregivers Conference—a joyful, uplifting, and informative day created especially for them.

The conference will take place on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Edinburg Conference Center at Renaissance, located at 118 Paseo del Prado. The event is designed to empower caregivers with knowledge, resources, and inspiration while also prioritizing something they often neglect—their own health and well-being.

Attendees can expect engaging workshops, interactive educational sessions, wellness-focused discussions, entertainment, and opportunities to connect with others who understand the caregiving journey. Local organizations will also be on hand to share information about community services, support networks, and ways to ease day-to-day caregiving responsibilities.

“Caregiving can be both deeply meaningful and incredibly challenging,” said Dr. Saroja Viswamitra, physiatrist and chief medical officer at DHR Health, who leads the annual conference. “Our caregivers give so much of themselves—often without taking a moment to recharge. This conference is our way of celebrating them, supporting them, and reminding them that caring for themselves is just as important as caring for others.”

The conference is free and open to the public, with complimentary breakfast and lunch provided. Seating is limited, so early registration is encouraged.

For more information or to register, please call (956) 362-3550, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
