The UTRGV Department of Human Development & School Services held a press conference to discuss a recently awarded project, MHS ACCESS: Accessing Mental Health Services.

“Our goal is to expand the capacity of seven high-need learning education agencies in partnership with UTRGV to train School-Based Mental Health Service Professionals available to address the shortages of interns from the School of Psychology, Counseling, and Social Work in high-need schools,” Dr. Nancy Razo, LSSP, professor of practice and school psychology program coordinator in the Department of Human Development and School Services, and principal investigator on the grant, said.
