AMJH Symphonic and Honor Bands win Sweepstakes

The Alton Memorial Jr. High Symphonic and Honor band competed at the UIL competition held at La Joya High School on March 10-11, 2020. Both bands earned a Division 1 on stage and a Division 1 on sight-reading making this a Sweepstakes performance! The AMJH Symphonic and Honor bands had not received Sweepstakes since 2015 and  this is a huge accomplishment for both groups. The bands are under the direction of Mr. Erick Ochoa. Assistant band directors include, Mr. Randy Ochoa, Mr. Ralph Miller, Mr. Armando Rodriguez, Mr. Sam Hjort, Mr. Carlos Garcia, Mr. Jose Alvarado and Mrs. Crystal Rodriguez. Once again, congratulations to the Alton Memorial Might Falcon Band!
