EDINBURG – Employees from the Hidalgo County Clerk’s Office are bringing awareness to Breast Cancer during the month of October. The employees from County Clerk Arturo Guajardo Jr.’s office are wearing pink every Monday to show love and support for all cancer survivors and honor those taken by this deadly disease.

As a way to educate employees, Guajardo asked Mario Lizcano, Doctor’s Hospital at Renaissance Administrator of Corporate Affairs, to give a short presentation to the staff. Lizcano spoke about the importance of annual checkups, how to recognize symptoms and the different types of preventative measures available.
