It takes a strong, collaborative team of stellar healthcare professionals to deliver quality, compassionate care to patients across the 12 facilities that make up South Texas Health System (STHS), the largest integrated network of care in the Rio Grande Valley. 

STHS is actively looking to expand its all-star team by filling various clinical and non-clinical positions, including key leadership roles at STHS McAllen and STHS Heart.

From remarkable registered nurses providing exceptional care to patients to the steadfast support staff committed to ensuring STHS’ facilities operate efficiently and effectively, STHS is currently hiring exceptional professionals to help the healthcare system deliver the highest quality care for patients across the region.

Through its latest ‘Get Hired Thursday’ event, which will take place on Thursday, November 13, 2025, STHS aims to fill dozens of positions across the system’s facilities, which include four acute care facilities, a behavioral health facility and seven freestanding emergency departments (FEDs).
