South Texas College is gearing up for its spring 2025 commencement ceremonies. More than 3,700 students, including dual credit students, will be earning a certificate, associate degree or bachelor’s degree this Friday and Saturday, to celebrate this milestone among family and friends.
On Saturday, during the 9:30 a.m. ceremony, STC will also be presenting a posthumous degree to the family of Alexandro Treviño, an Information Systems student who passed away in March, two months shy of receiving his associate degree. His mother, father, two siblings and grandparents will be in attendance.
