Edinburg To Host ‘S.P.A.R.C. Business Showcase’ To Distribute $100 Gift Cards To Vaccinated Residents

Edinburg, Texas – The City of Edinburg is announcing its largest S.P.A.R.C (Stimulus Program Aimed at Recovery from COVID-19) gift card distribution event for vaccinated residents! On Saturday October 2nd, the City will host local SPARC 3.0 businesses in a pop-up marketplace style showcase event. DHR Health will also be on-site offering Pfizer COVID vaccinations. This S.P.A.R.C. 3.0 Business Showcase event will be a one-stop shop for eligible residents to pick up their $100 gift card, shop and support local small business owners, enjoy some food, drinks, music, and get vaccinated. 


Residents of Edinburg must have identification matching a current city of Edinburg address in order to be eligible for the gift card. City staff will be on site Friday and Saturday to verify addresses within city limits and distribute S.P.A.R.C cards to qualifying vaccinated residents.


To receive a $100 S.P.A.R.C. gift card, each individual must:

-be 12 years of age or older;

-have a photo or school ID;

-have identification that matches current address within the city limits of Edinburg;

-Did NOT receive a S.P.A.R.C gift card on September 17th or September 18th, 2021.

-Must have had at least one previous COVID vaccination (Must bring the original -vaccination/immunization card as proof; photos/copies, of card will not be accepted).
