Driscoll Health Plan is gearing up for the 2024-2025 school year by spearheading a series of back-to-school events across South Texas. Building upon last year’s support of 93 back-to-school events, Driscoll Health Plan, in collaboration with various community partners, is thrilled to announce nine large-scale events aimed at equipping students with essential supplies, and services for the upcoming academic year. These events are at no cost to the community.

In addition to the core offerings, community organizations will be present to provide additional resources and support. These events play a vital role in ensuring that students have the tools necessary for academic success. Members of the media are invited to attend and cover these events to showcase the significance of community support in education.

“Driscoll Health Plan has been a dedicated provider of essential services in South Texas for over 20 years. During this time, we have ensured that children in 24 counties have access to backpacks, school supplies, sports physicals, and families have connections to resources necessary for students to excel in school.  Our commitment to the community is unwavering, and these initiatives underscore how deeply Driscoll Health Plan cares about the future of our students and the well-being of our community. Together, we heal,” said Rose Santos, DHP Community Outreach Manager.
