BROWNSVILLE – Driscoll Health Plan, in partnership with Cameron County, and Cameron County Parks and Recreation, will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony to announce the establishment of the Community Connection Center.
The Center will provide health education at no cost to Cameron County residents, including immediate supplies and monthly presentations to increase families’ awareness of health topics. We know that families with health education are more likely to be healthier and reduce high-risk factors. The goal of this program is to address social determinants of health by increasing families’ awareness and promote long-term healthier habits.
