DHR Health will host a “National Donor Day” event to raise awareness about the life-saving impact of organ donation. The event will feature guest speakers, including transplant recipients and DHR Health Transplant Institute physicians who will discuss the importance of being a registered organ donor.
National Donor Day, always celebrated on February 14th of every year, is an opportunity to educate the community on the importance of being a registered organ donor. The DHR Health Transplant Institute is the only medical facility of its kind in the Rio Grande Valley and Laredo and is dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive care that is close to home. The Institute ensures that patients receive all the medical support they need for a new chance at life.
