EDINBURG, Texas – DHR Health Clinics are inviting the community to celebrate the holiday season with festive greetings from around the world at their 2nd Annual Joy to the World event. The excitement is set to begin from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on December 21, 2024 at the DHR Health Medical Office Parking Lot, located at 1100 E. Dove Avenue in McAllen. The event is free and open to the public.
“Our global holiday-themed event will be filled with family-friendly activities that will also highlight the various medical specialty services we offer at our DHR Health Clinics,” said Veronica Villarreal, DHR Health Clinics Chief Ambulatory Officer.
DHR Health Clinics can be found throughout the Rio Grande Valley, with over 70 locations serving the counties of Hidalgo, Starr, Cameron and Willacy. At DHR Health Clinics, patients can find health services in various medical specialties ranging from bariatrics, cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, diabetes and endocrinology, gastroenterology, general surgery, maternal fetal medicine, neuroscience, oncology, ophthalmology, primary care, plastic and reconstruction surgery, transplant, urgent care, urology, and much more.
At the holiday event each booth will be themed to a different country and offer a kid-friendly activity. Other festival highlights include an array of traditional holiday refreshments, as well as festive holiday entertainment, including a captivating lineup of live music performances from local schools, and other talented artists. Santa Claus will also be present for family photographs, adding to the joyous atmosphere.
