EDINBURG, Texas – DHR Health is once again delighted to announce its “A” Hospital Safety Grade from The Leapfrog Group, an independent national nonprofit watchdog focused on patient safety. This grade for Fall 2025 is a testament to DHR Health’s commitment to patient safety and quality care. DHR Health previously received an “A” for Spring 2025.

Leapfrog assigns an “A,” “B,” “C,” “D” or “F” grade to general hospitals across the country based on over 30 measures of errors, accidents, injuries and infections as well as the systems hospitals have in place to prevent them.

“This Leapfrog ‘A’ belongs to every member of the DHR Health family. I am proud of our employees and physicians who continue to lead with compassion and dedication, ensuring our patients receive the safest, highest-quality care possible. This achievement reflects the care and commitment our teams show every day to the patients and community we serve. It highlights the shared purpose that connects everyone at DHR Health,” said Dr. Manish Singh, DHR Health chief executive officer.
