EDINBURG, Texas – Hidalgo County Precinct 4 Commissioner Ellie Torres, in partnership with the AltaCair Foundation, invites the public to attend a Free Community Health Fair on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Precinct 4 Endowment Center, 107 Sunflower Rd., Edinburg, TX.

This free community event is designed to encourage healthy lifestyles, help prevent and manage diseases, and connect residents with valuable health and wellness resources.

Attendees will have access to:
Free health screenings (please arrive fasting for lab services)
Educational resources on health and wellness
Workforce development opportunities
Emergency preparedness information
Community resource connections
And much more!

“Our goal is to create a healthier, more informed community by bringing together health professionals, community organizations, and workforce partners in one place,” said Commissioner Torres. “We are proud to partner with AltaCair Foundation to make this possible for our residents.”

The event is free and open to the public, and residents of all ages are encouraged to attend.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for residents to take charge of their health and connect with local resources that can make a difference in their lives,” said the Director of Precinct 4 Endowment Center.
