The South Texas College Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Program will host a special gathering to commemorate its 25th anniversary and honor its countless, distinguished graduates.
The celebration marks the program’s remarkable achievement of a consistent 100% pass rate over the years, showcasing its commitment to excellence in education and clinical preparation.
Over 250 guests, including faculty, staff, students and alumni, will come together to commemorate this milestone, reflecting on the program’s success and the impactful contributions to the field of physical therapy in the Rio Grande Valley and beyond. The event will also feature distinguished guests, speakers and special recognitions.
Established in 1998, with its first graduating cohort in 2000, South Texas College’s Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Program became the region’s first and only of its kind for many years.
It quickly became a driving force in producing highly skilled professionals, meeting the growing demand in the field of physical therapy.
Since its inception, the program has built a long-standing reputation for excellence, including a flawless pass rate for its graduates.
