The Renaissance Cancer Foundation, a non-profit organization affiliated with DHR Health, will host its “Feel the Love,” gala, set to take place on November 16, 2024. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. The event will be held at the Edinburg Conference Center at Renaissance, located at 118 Paseo Del Prado. This signature event will feature a cocktail & hors d’oeuvres reception, silent auction and live music. Headlining the gala is the multi-talented Michael Cavanaugh who will bring his extraordinary abilities to the music of legendary song-writers such as Elton, Billy Joel, and Lionel Richie.

The gala aims to raise funds to support underserved cancer patients across the Rio Grande Valley, specifically in Hidalgo, Cameron, Starr, and Willacy counties. The Renaissance Cancer Foundation provides various forms of support to cancer patients in need, including financial and transportation assistance as well as oncology wigs, and much more.

“We’re thrilled to welcome our longtime supporters to the Gala each year. It’s a special time to express our gratitude for their continued generosity, celebrate the Foundation’s mission, and raise the essential funds that will help us in the coming year,” said Evelyn Saenz, Executive Director of the Renaissance Cancer Foundation.
