DHR Health Rehabilitation Hospital helps patient coordinate a Proposal

Edinburg, TX — On February 11, 2020DHR Health Rehabilitation Hospital staff played Cupid to help a patient pull off an unforgettable proposal to his girlfriend of 11 months.  

The 38-year-old patient, Julio Villarreal, expressed to the staff at the Rehab Hospital that he wanted to do something really special for his girlfriend who has been very supportive during his journey.  Staff worked together to make sure to put all the details together in order for him to propose to his 25-year-old girlfriend Brenda Guizar.

Villarreal recently suffered a very traumatic brain injury due to a motorcycle accident which caused him to need physical, occupational and speech therapy services at DHR Health Rehabilitation Hospital. Staff at the Rehab hospital gathered flowers, balloons, music and a table was set up with linen, a cake, and sparkling juice to make sure to stage a romantic setting to commemorate this special moment in their lives.
