UTRGV’s ranking is listed in the news magazine’s “10 Affordable Medical Schools for Out-of-State Students,” which is part of The U.S. News Short List. The Short List is a regular series that, according to the news magazine, “magnifies individual data points in hopes of providing students and parents a way to find which undergraduate or graduate programs excel or have room to grow in specific areas.” It is separate from U.S. News & World Report’s overall rankings.
