EDINBURG, Texas – DHR Health, one of the largest physician-owned hospitals in the United States and a proud healthcare provider for the Rio Grande Valley since 1997, is delighted to welcome Dr. Jason Shumadine Wolff, to its growing network of specialty care physicians. Dr. Shumadine Wolff is a board-certified Radiation Oncologist who will proudly serve patients at the DHR Health’s Oncology Institute.

Dr. Shumadine Wolff has more than 21 years of experience in treating a broad spectrum of cancers and is dedicated to delivering compassionate care using the latest advancements in radiation therapy. As a radiation oncologist, he treats cancer with precise targeted radiation therapy designed to destroy cancer cells while minimizing exposure to surrounding healthy tissue. Dr. Shumadine Wolff will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of cancer care professionals to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs.

Dr. Shumadine Wolff earned his medical doctorate at Eastern Virginia Medical School, graduating top of his class and recognized nationally by the medical honor society of Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA). He then completed his residency in Radiation Oncology at The Medical College of Virginia and served as chief resident. In practice since 2005, Dr. Shumadine Wolff performs all major modalities of radiation therapy cancer treatment, including Stereotactic Radiosurgery, Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy, Brachytherapy, and Radioactive Particle Treatment or Radiopharmaceuticals. To date, he has treated over 10,000 patients.

“I am honored to be a part of DHR and to bring new technology and treatments for cancer to the patients of the RGV. I enjoy educating the community and participating in programs which significantly help the people of the RGV.”
