McALLEN, Texas – The Breast Cancer Awareness Symposium 2026 is an educational and networking event hosted by Texas Oncology and sponsored by Caris Life Sciences, bringing together oncology specialists, surgeons, advanced practice providers, and community healthcare professionals to discuss the latest advances in breast cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment, survivorship, and reconstruction. The symposium’s theme, “Breast Cancer 2026: Early Detection, Modern Care, and Survivorship Through Community Partnership,” highlights the importance of multidisciplinary collaboration and patient-centered care.

Attendees will gain insights into topics such as minimally invasive breast cancer management, genetic testing, precision medicine, emerging biomarkers, current treatment innovations, survivorship care, and breast reconstruction. The program will feature seven 20/25-minute educational presentations, followed by an interactive roundtable discussion and Q&A session, concluding with dinner. We are confident this event will provide valuable education and support while fostering meaningful dialogue within our community and the Texas Oncology team. The event offers 3 CME/CNE credit hours.
