EDINBURG, Texas – With the grand opening of Reserva Coffee Roasters’ newest café, the warmth and comfort of home are now just a brew away at South Texas Health System Edinburg (STHS) and STHS Children’s, helping create the perfect setting for connection, conversation and community for hospital visitors, staff and physicians.
To mark the special occasion, STHS Edinburg hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, June 18, 2026, celebrating the official launch of Reserva’s newest location, its fifth in the Rio Grande Valley.

Their hands-on approach, from crafting signature recipes to personally maintaining their equipment, reflects a deep sense of ownership and dedication to delivering a high-quality experience for every guest at their STHS Edinburg location.”
From its humble beginnings as a single coffee shop in McAllen with just eight employees, Reserva has evolved into a beloved local brand, steadily expanding while staying true to its passion for handcrafted coffee and its mission of bringing people together, one cup at a time.
“The vision for this space was to create a calming, welcoming environment for the families of STHS Edinburg and STHS Children’s patients, because we understand that being in a hospital can often feel heavy,” said Michelle Quiroz, Managing Partner, Reserva. “Even something as simple as a warm pastry or a cup of coffee can offer a moment of comfort and renewal. For us, roasting and brewing coffee isn’t just a craft; it’s our calling.”
Located on the first floor of STHS Edinburg, the Reserva Coffee Roasters café offers a selection of specialty coffees, espressos and teas, along with non-caffeinated beverages such as watermelon and lavender lemonades, as well as a variety of meal options and freshly baked goods.The café is open Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
