New Tool for Physicians to Track Continuing Education Credits

Physician licensees now have access to a powerful, new tool to track their continuing education credits to meet license renewal requirements. The Texas Medical Board (TMB) has partnered with CE Broker, an online system that helps licensed professionals track their earned credit hours and streamline continuing education audits.

As of May 30, 2024, all physician licensees can establish an account with CE Broker. CE Broker’s basic account is free, with premium features available at a cost. The features included in the free, basic account are:

Digital Tracking: Access your complete course history, store your certificates, and check your compliance status any time.

Course Search: Easily find every course needed to successfully complete your license renewal requirements.

Easy Reporting: Most education providers will automatically report course completions to CE Broker for you, but you can also easily self-report any missing credits by uploading your proof of completion.

Helpful Support: CE Broker’s Help Center is accessible anytime, anywhere, providing assistance even outside of regular business hours. Customers have access to a knowledge base where they can get answers to the most common questions and submit a support request at help.cebroker.com.

TMB will roll out access to all licensees on a quarterly basis and by license type (i.e. physician, RCP, PA, etc.) between now and June 1, 2025. Licensees will be contacted by TMB when their license type is eligible to create an account with CE Broker.

CE Broker is used by more than 250 licensing and certification boards across the country. The Board is pleased to offer this new opportunity to help our licensees stay up-to-date with their continuing education requirements.
