Under Coleman’s leadership, the center has focused on strengthening internal systems, expanding community partnerships, increasing donor engagement, and reaching abortion-vulnerable women and families with compassionate care, practical support, and hope.

This announcement comes at a meaningful time, as May 7 marks McAllen Pregnancy Center’s 18th Anniversary of serving women, men, and families throughout the region. For nearly two decades, the Center has provided pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, parenting education, material assistance, mentoring, and referrals—all at no cost to clients—through Christ-centered, compassionate care for women and families facing unplanned pregnancies and related challenges.

“I am honored by the confidence the Board has placed in me,” said Coleman. “The mission of McAllen Pregnancy Center is deeply important, and I believe the greatest days of this ministry are still ahead. Every child matters, every family matters, and every client who walks through our doors deserves compassionate, life-affirming care and support.”

The organization recently announced strategic initiatives focused on increasing outreach to underserved and abortion-vulnerable communities throughout the Rio Grande Valley while continuing to strengthen existing client services and ministry programs.
