McAllen, Texas – Burns Motors has served the Mission and McAllen communities for over 76 years, providing quality vehicles and exceptional service. As a family-owned dealership, Burns Motors is dedicated to supporting the local community through charitable initiatives and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

Beginning September 16th, recognized as Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Burns Motors McAllen and Mission will donate $75 from every new and pre-owned vehicle sold to Friends for Hope. The donation period will end on October 16th, 2024.

This initiative follows the dealership’s successful campaign in 2023, when proceeds from September sales were donated to Friends for Hope, benefiting the Vannie E. Cook, Jr. Cancer and Hematology Clinic, the region’s first and only comprehensive pediatric cancer and hematology clinic. The outpouring of support from the community during last year’s efforts inspired Burns Motors to continue its mission of helping families in need.

“We are incredibly grateful for the loyalty and trust the community has placed in us over the past 76 years,” said Xavier Contreras, Director of Operations of Burns Motors. “This year, we are honored to show our appreciation by again partnering with Friends for Hope, an organization close to our hearts. It’s our way of giving back to a cause that makes a real difference. We invite everyone to join us this September, whether you’re purchasing a vehicle or simply helping spread the word. Together, we can significantly impact these children’s lives.”
