Texas A&M University Kingsville Women’s Volleyball Team Visits DHR Health Patients

Patients at DHR Health were treated to a special visit from the Texas A&M University Kingsville Women’s Volleyball Team. The team was on a special retreat in the Rio Grande Valley and decided to visit patients at the hospital to help lift their spirits as they recuperated in the hospital. 

The ladies delivered homemade greetings cards, passed out flowers and cookies to patients. Texas A&M University Kingsville Head Coach Tanya Allen-Gonzalez said the visit was done as a way for the athletes to give back to the community and make a connection beyond the court.
