SAN ANTONIO — At Whataburger, our hearts are heavy following the tragedy and widespread damage caused by severe flooding that swept through the Texas Hill Country over the Fourth of July weekend.

Our deepest sympathies go out to the families and communities who have suffered damage and unimaginable loss.  We have profound gratitude for the first responders, local agencies, and volunteers working around the clock to offer aid, comfort, and hope. Our Whataburger Family Members will keep the hot burgers coming.

As we begin on the road to recovery, Whataburger is donating $100,000 to local relief organizations.

In addition, from July 9 through July 31, Whataburger will donate 100% of the purchase price (before tax) from our first Commemorative Cup collection to flood relief. These limited-edition $2* cups are available exclusively at participating Whataburger restaurants across our 17 states. Every dollar raised will help support disaster response, mental health care and rebuilding efforts across the region.

“Our hearts are with everyone affected by the Kerrville flooding. The loss is deeply felt, but so is our gratitude for the first responders, volunteers, and neighbors showing extraordinary strength and compassion,” Debbie Stroud, CEO of Whataburger, said. “At Whataburger, we stand with you—and we invite our guests to stand with us and the people of Texas Hill Country. Every cup purchased, every dollar raised helps bring hope and healing to the families and communities who need it most.”
