Driscoll Health Plan and Brownsville Police Department will be hosting a basketball tournament where both organizations will face off in an exciting exhibition match!

The tournament will see eight CO-ED teams of adolescents play in single-elimination matches. The purpose is to encourage youth to have fun outdoors, as well as promote inclusivity and diversity. Driscoll Health Plan has committed $6,000 to help sponsor the effort, officially named “Healthy Hoops – Championing Wellness and Safety on the Court.”

Media are invited to the friendly exhibition match and tournament, which will feature an appearance by the Rio Grande Valley Vipers Dance Team.
