Vitalant encourages all eligible blood donors to give from the heart to help meet an urgent need for patients in February, Heart Health Month. In addition to helping save patients’ lives, every blood donor receives a mini-physical checking their pulse and blood pressure and a cholesterol test. With each donation, donors can track their wellness information over time in their secure and confidential online portal account.
