 Driscoll Health System held a groundbreaking for Driscoll Children’s Hospital Rio Grande Valley, an independently operated eight-level pediatric hospital in the Rio Grande Valley. Designated speakers included Master of Ceremonies Val LaMantia, Driscoll Children’s Hospital Board of Directors member from McAllen; Eric Hamon, President and CEO of Driscoll Health System; State Senator Juan “Chuy” Hinojosa, District 20; and Driscoll Health Plan member and Driscoll patient Jeremiah Cardona. The building is expected to be completed in Spring 2023.
