Edinburg, TX – DHR Health is proud to announce the addition of Dustin M. Luebbers, M.D. to our exceptional team at the DHR Health Surgery Institute.

Dr. Luebbers is no stranger to the surgery suites at DHR Health, in fact, he was named “UTRGV-DHR Health Resident of The Year” two times for demonstrating clinical promise, leadership, and commitment to patients and the field of surgery during his General Surgery Residency in 2016 and 2018.

Dr. Luebbers received his Bachelor of Science from LaGrange College in La Grange, Georgia before attaining his Doctor of Medicine from American University of the Caribbean in St. Maarten, Netherlands Antilles in 2014.

His post graduate training includes a General Surgery Residency at UTRGV in Edinburg, TX and Colorectal Surgery Fellowship at Brown University in Providence, RI.

Dr. Luebbers brings a wealth of experience in evaluating and treating colon cancers, and anal rectal pathology, promoting heathier communities in the Rio Grande Valley along with the largest and most comprehensive surgery team at the DHR Health Surgery Institute.
