McAllen, TX- The College of Health Care Professions recently celebrated the grand opening of its new campus in McAllen. This is their 7th campus in the state of Texas offering allied health care degrees & certificates. CHCP was founded over 25 years ago by doctors in the medical center in Houston. They are Texas based, and focus on health care training & education only. “We believe health care is a very specialized field that demands our entire faculty & staff’s attention 100% of the time,” said Joe Cortez, McAllen Campus President. “With the help of our local advisory board, we stay up to date on trends and developments across the industry to continually make our instruction and programs relevant to each of the markets we serve,” Cortez concluded. CHCP graduates have worked with over 1,000 employers across the state. Each campus has a director of Career Services that is focused on helping their graduates find the career of their life.
