STC’s fall 2014 final payment deadline on August 19

McAllen, TX (July 11, 2014) – The South Texas College fall 2014 semester is fast-approaching with classes starting on August 25. In addition to preparing for the semester, students are advised to arrange their tuition payments by 5 p.m. on the Final Payment Deadline, August 19. Students who have not paid their tuition or made payment arrangements will be dropped from their classes during this first implementation of a Final Payment Deadline.

“Our Cashier’s Office is open during regular and extended hours to ensure every student has an opportunity to either pay their tuition or make payment arrangements,” said Matthew Hebbard, dean of enrollment services and registrar. “Students may also access the Cashier’s website around the clock to make payment arrangements. There are plenty of options to keep students enrolled in their classes.”

These payment options include payment in full, installment plans with required down payments, emergency loans, or students may still apply for financial aid. In addition to making payment arrangement during regular hours on Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. students may also take advantage of extended hours on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Pecan, Mid-Valley and Starr County Campuses.
