MISSION, TX – Mission Regional Medical Center received a donation of 25,000 face masks to support the organization’s mission in the fight against COVID-19. This donation will assist in protecting our patients and keeping our front-line staff as healthy as possible.

“We are so grateful for the outpouring of support from our community and from businesses such as Stanley Black & Decker as we work to respond to the spread of COVID-19,” said Kane Dawson, CEO at Mission Regional Medical Center.

“Stanley Black & Decker is immensely proud of our partnership with Mission Regional Medical Center, which is just one part of our company-wide effort to empower those on the front lines in the fight against COVID-19,” said Pablo de Los Santos, Mission Plant Manager, Stanley Black & Decker. “True to our purpose – For Those Who Make The World – we are committed to doing our part by helping communities and governments mitigate the effects of the virus.”

In addition to this donation, Stanley Black & Decker is supporting COVID-19 response efforts in other critical ways. The company’s tools and storage units, engineered fasteners and security solutions are used by the essential health care, first responder, construction, maintenance, transportation, government and medical manufacturing workers. Stanley Black & Decker is developing 3D face shield printing, innovations in mask technology, and fasteners and battery technology for medical products such as respirators.
