Driscoll is hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony for the grand opening of its second Quick Care clinic in the Rio Grande Valley. The Quick Care clinic officially began operations Tuesday, Oct. 24.
Now, we’re celebrating with the community and inviting members of the media to hear it directly from us: this is just the beginning! With next year’s opening of Driscoll Children’s Hospital Rio Grande Valley, Driscoll is doing everything it can to keep the momentum going and build out the most robust pediatric care system in the RGV. Attendees will hear from Driscoll President and CEO Eric Hamon, and Driscoll Children’s Hospital RGV President Matt Wolthoff.

The Quick Care in Edinburg offers treatment for minor illnesses and injuries, such as flu-like symptoms or small cuts that may require stitches. (Children with more severe emergent issues, such as prolonged seizures or difficulty breathing, should be taken to an emergency room.)
The new location also benefits the community with prompt treatments and a local medical staff. Best of all, the clinic will be open late until 11 p.m. to accommodate those late night uh-ohs and oopsies!
